Etrading Software Provides Update on bond Consolidated Tape Proceedings

25 November 2025 — Etrading Software confirms that it has submitted a witness statement to the High Court in support of the Financial Conduct Authority’s application to lift the automatic suspension on the award of the UK bond Consolidated Tape contract.
Etrading Software has also applied to participate in the proceedings as an interested party, for the purpose of assisting the Court in relation to the suspension issue. This procedural step enables Etrading Software to provide relevant factual information to support the Court’s consideration of whether work on the UK bond Consolidated Tape may progress while the legal challenge continues.
The UK bond Consolidated Tape is expected to provide a reliable and standardised view of activity in the UK bond market, supporting transparency, market efficiency, and the UK’s competitiveness as a global financial centre.
Etrading Software will continue to advance preparatory work for the launch of the Consolidated Tape, while recognising that some activities can only be completed following contract signature and the required authorisations.
